Welcome to our national teaching series, the BrainLeeds Academy! This series will provide participating medical students essential insights into neurology and neurosurgery, as well as clinical practice and research. Our aims are to:

  1. Focus on core neurological conditions
  2. Cover the basics of neuroanatomy, right up to complicated pathways
  3. Difficult patient presentations and findings
  4. Information and guidance on neurological and neurosurgical specialties

Part 1: Neuroanatomy will be delivered by Lauren Heywood, a Teaching Fellow in Anatomy from the University of Leeds. This is the second session of Part 1, which explores the spinal tracts.
