Description

On Wednesday, Professor John Dark will discuss how laboratory science contributes to improved surgical outcomes. Professor Dark, a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Newcastle University and a world-renowned retired cardiothoracic surgeon, led the cardiac and pulmonary transplant program at Freeman Hospital for over 20 years, making it the most active in the UK. He resumed a leading role in the transplant program in March 2016. This is a talk you won't want to miss!
