The overarching aims are as follows:

• Enlighten the participants about the career pathways available, the everyday life of a trainee/consultants in neurology, neuroradiology and neurosurgery.
• Highlight the advances / progresses made in neurosciences and the current issues that exist within these specialities.
• Advice on how to improve portfolios for applicants and developing basic practical skills in these specialities.
