Did you know?
- You can apply for certificates that reflect your practice - certification is open to all surgeons on the GMC/IMC specialist register, under the relevant surgical specialty.
- After applying, if it’s felt that you do not quite meet the requirements, you can pause your application for 2 years, increase your experience, and re-submit new evidence, at no extra cost.
- Surgeons whose specialty is plastic surgery, do not have to apply for the Cosmetic Surgery certificate - you can apply for individual certificates.
- After certifying, you can apply for additional certificates at no extra cost, provided you meet the requirements for any new additional certificates.
