Summary
The Proctology Roadshow, a partnership between The Dukes' Club and St Mark’s Hospital, provides a comprehensive training series for healthcare professionals interested in proctology. The event covers both basic and advanced proctology issues and procedures, with several practical sessions on porcine models for true hands-on learning. Attendees will learn about specific conditions such as Haemorrhoids, Fissure, Warts, STI, AIN, and Pilonidal Disease, focusing on critical procedures like sphincterotomy, Haemorrhoidopexy, the LIFT procedure, and proctology MRI reading. This collaboration event promises to provide invaluable expertise and training for professionals in the proctology field.

Understand and identify different proctology conditions and diseases like haemorrhoids, fissures, warts, STI, AIN, pruritis ani, perianal dermatology, pilonidal disease, anal fistula, perianal Crohn's disease and rectovaginal fistula, and the corresponding treatment options.

Gain knowledge on operative procedures like EUA, lateral sphincterotomy, haemorrhoidopexy, advancement flap, and LIFT procedure and the conditions in which they are applied.

Through the operative practical sessions, apply theoretical knowledge into practice and manage basic and advanced proctology conditions, and conduct relevant procedures on porcine models.

Learn how to read and interpret Proctology MRI and utilise this practice in diagnosing and managing proctology conditions.

Engage in a Proctology MDT, or Multi-disciplinary Team discussion with experts in the field, with the aim to discuss clinical cases, and understand the roles of different members of the MDT while managing proctology conditions.
