Surgical Educationalist Lisa Hadfield-Law provides key insights appropriate for medical students, foundation doctors and junior trainees on teamwork, leadership and training in Orthopaedic surgery.
Lisa spent 20 years in clinical practice and then 20 years in surgical education. She managed an orthopaedic/trauma service of a major teaching hospital, and has insight into the circumstances and challenges facing surgical teams.  Having been immersed in both cultures, she is in a unique position to provide educational advice.
Lisa has been a surgical educator since 1992. In that time she has trained over 15,000 surgeons from 68 countries within Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Lisa has an MSc in Higher Professional Education and is on the Advisory Board to the Faculty of Surgical Trainers.
