Dr John Frain is the Director of Clinical Skills for Graduate-Entry Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor at The University of Nottingham. Dr Frain is also the Lead GP at Derwent Valley Medical Practice and has special interests in Cardiology and Evidence-Based Medicine. He is passionate about medical education having co-authored several of the ABC book series, developed over 100 clinical skills videos and clinical skills workbook for Graduate-Entry Medicine students at The University of Nottingham.
This session will focus on the delivery of cardiovascular services in primary care with some common patient presentations, key clinical signs and why we look for them, and some of the cardiovascular screening that goes on in general practice.
