It may not have been an obvious GMC reportable offence but did you ever wish you could report an issue in some official way? Have you ever had that dreaded email or letter telling you that you've been named in a complaint? Well, this January, let's learn together about the best ways to approach scenarios like these along with other common medicolegal situations.
This teaching session is designed to help those in surgical roles to effectively learn from mistakes and how to be prepared should you have to defend decisions or practice. Using real-life case studies we will examine how to report, learn from and be accountable for our mistakes as surgeons.
