Hey everyone! We are welcoming everyone back to the new semester with our first talk titled “Introduction to Ophthalmology”.

This talk will be about ophthalmology as a speciality and tips on getting into ophthalmology training! This should be a great session for anyone considering ophthalmology as a future career.

We are honoured to welcome our speaker, Dr Mary-Therese Monaghan. She is currently undertaking her ophthalmic specialty training in the Severn Deanery having recently moved from Scotland. She previously studied Medicine and intercalated in Anatomy at the University of Dundee and worked in Glasgow as a foundation doctor.
