Dr Marawan El Farargy will be giving a lecture for HYMS students open to all years about Interventional Radiology (IR), a fast-growing field of medicine that will be more relevant to students' clinical practice in coming years. This lecture will also cover some relevant content regarding IR, particularly for the 5th year HYMS students who will be sitting their UKMLA examination shortly.
Dr El Farargy is an IR fellow at Hull University Teaching Hospitals. A Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, he completed his clinical radiology training at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and is a current member of the British Society of Interventional Radiologists as well as the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe. He is also one of the organisers of the upcoming Yorkshire Imaging and Interventional Radiology Symposium, which will be taking place on the 24th of Feb 2024 at the Worsley Building, Clarendon Way, Leeds.
