Event Description:

The first ever Interventional Radiology Research Day will take place on October 15th. The aim of the day is to showcase exciting IR research and how one can get involved. We will discuss collaborative research opportunities and connect trainees and students across the country with interventional radiologists who are passionate about research.

This is a joint venture between the UK National Interventional radiology Trainee rEsearch (UNITE) group, the BSIR trainee committee and IR Juniors Group. We are kindly supported by the Royal College of Radiologists and the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).

We will be running a project pitch competition for all delegates to submit ideas to. The top 5 pitches will be invited to present their idea LIVE at the Research Day with the winner receiving a prize (supported by the NIHR) and the opportunity to take the idea forward as a national project with help from the UNITE group.
