1. To understand the application and significance of statistics in internal medicine, allowing for the interpretation and execution of research studies. 2. To summarise and critically evaluate statistical data used in clinical case studies related to internal medicine. 3. Gain expertise in performing Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) in an internal medicine setting, focusing on end-to-end processes from patient interaction to documentation. 4. Acquire knowledge about the various categories of statistical methods used in internal medicine, and the criteria for choosing the appropriate statistical test for data analysis. 5. Improve skills in interpreting the results of statistical analyses in published studies in terms of their clinical significance, validity and influence on decision-making in internal medicine.
