Mr. Zaid Awad is a highly trained otolaryngologist with expertise in head and neck cancer surgery, gained through extensive training in London and a fellowship in Adelaide, Australia. He has visited various international units to augment his knowledge and skills in otolaryngology. Throughout his career, Mr. Awad has been actively involved in professional organizations, serving as president of the Association of Otolaryngologists in Training in the UK and holding positions in several committees related to otolaryngology training and education.
His clinical expertise spans a wide range of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions, with a particular focus on head and neck cancer and its impact on quality of life. He is skilled in managing disorders such as oral cancer, voice disorders, thyroid disorders, and ENT emergencies.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Awad has a strong research background, having completed a PhD at Imperial College London focusing on skill acquisition and assessment in otolaryngology training.
