IMG Surgical Careers Programme - Mentor Q&A
Summary
If you are a surgical trainee and interested in working alongside the Royal College of Surgeons to deliver peer-mentorship for IMGs, you do not want to miss this session!
The Royal College of Surgeons is excited to announce their partnership with The Portfolio Clinic, through the 2nd edition of the grassroots scheme. The Portfolio Clinic has been delivering virtual near-peer mentorship for the past 18 months, aiding clinicians with one-to-one careers support since conception.
They will be collaborating with the college to introduce mentorship to International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who wish to pursue a surgical career. This will be through one to one near peer mentorship and a variety of national in-person events.
This Q&A session by The Portfolio Clinic will allow you to gain more information on the scheme and ask any questions you may have.
