1. The learner will be able to accurately identify and describe the basic anatomical structures of the thorax as they appear on a CT scan. 2. The learner will gain an understanding of the various pathologies that can affect the thorax and how these present on a CT scan. 3. The learner will develop the ability to visually differentiate between normal and abnormal findings on a chest CT scan. 4. The learner will be able to discuss common diagnostic challenges in thoracic CT scans and methods to overcome these. 5. The learner will acquire strategies for effective interaction and communication with patients and other healthcare professionals regarding the interpretation of thoracic CT findings.
