How to hold an instrument properly is fundamental to how to use an instrument; but is often assumed and frequently overlooked. BBASS explores the ergonomics of instrument handling and explains why we need to attend to this important aspect. Instruments are to be considered an extension of the fingers. Only with the lightest of touches can you 'caress the tissues and be mere hewer of flesh. We will also explore hold the look after the instrument.
