PRASSA UK is excited to invite you to our first tutorial in our national teaching series. The tutorial will cover head & neck surgery and is aimed at the level of medical students.

The tutorial will be covered by consultant plastic surgeon, Mr Ragbir.

Mr Ragbir is a consultant plastic surgeon at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. He attended medical school at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. He completed his plastic surgery training in the UK, where he developed his specialist interest in head and neck and sarcoma reconstruction.

He is currently the president of BAPRAS and lead clinician for the bone & soft tissue tumour service for the North of England.

He has vast experience in medical education. He has been the training Program Director for Plastic Surgery Training in the North East for almost a decade. He is also the first and only plastic surgeon to have been made chair of the head and neck training interface group. Alongside this, he has over a decade of expereince as an intercollegiate FRCS (Plast) examiner.

In 2018 he was awarded PLASTA UK’s “UK Plastic Surgery Trainee of the year”. He has published extensive research, is an author of multiple book chapters, and been an editor for the oxford textbook of plastic surgery.
