InciSioN (International Student Surgical Network) is an international network of medical students and young doctors that aims to increase awareness for and access to safe and timely surgical care worldwide. This year InciSioN Belgium and InciSioN Uganda have collaborated to organise an online lecture on "Global Paediatric Surgery", specifically on the topic: "Improving access to pediatric surgical care".

Dr. John Sekabira:
- Deputy Executive Director at Mulago National Referral Hospital, Uganda
- President of the Association of Surgeons of Uganda
- Special interest in general paediatric surgery, paediatric oncology and neonatal surgery
Prof. Emily Smith:
- Epidemiologist, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Global Health at Duke University, USA
- Specific research area of surgical care for children in low- and middle-income countries
Prof. Kokila Lakhoo:
- Consultant Paediatric Surgeon, Oxford Children's Hospital, UK
- Former President of the Global Initiative for Children's Surgery (GICS), Chair of the International Forum for the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons
