Join us for the launch event of the Global Frugal Innovation Skills Course! This will be an exciting online, eight-module educational course covering a range of innovation and research skills for surgeons, doctors and allied health specialties such as nurses and health officers. The extended healthcare team and those from other disciplines (engineering, technology etc) may also find the course useful and therefore the course will be open access for all who wish to learn. Once participants have gained the necessary skills, they will then have the chance to put these into practice in a virtual guided innovation hackathon (Module 8), to develop a potential innovative solution to an unmet need in global surgery.
The course is modular and available on catch-up so that busy participants from a range of time zones can access educational content on-demand at a convenient time. Sessions will be live streamed for those who wish to attend live.
