1. To understand the process and importance of formulating a succinct and relevant research question in medical research. 2. To develop skills in brainstorming and refining ideas for a medical research project that is viable and of potential significance to the field. 3. To recognise the potential challenges that can arise during the concept and question development phase of a medical research project, and to discuss how these can be proactively managed. 4. To examine examples of successful medical research projects, identifying the key elements in their initial ideation and question formulation phase, and applying this knowledge to future research endeavours.
