Join GASOC for the February instalment of our Global Webinar Series.

We'll learn from Dr Tim Fabrice Tientcheu (MD, MSc), a Consultant General Surgeon at Yaounde Central Hospital, Cameroon. Dr Tientcheu is the Global Surgery Lead and coordinator of the ASCOVIME simulation centre at ASCOVIME Cameroon.

ASCOVIME is a grassroots organisation formed in 2002, created to provide healthcare to rural Cameroonian villages lacking modern medical facilities. Volunteer healthcare professionals regularly travel to remote areas of Cameroon to serve the population most in need of medical care. They are committed to providing high-quality education and training for new generations of healthcare professionals based in Cameroon. We will have an opportunity to discuss the successes and challenges of providing medical and surgical care to rural and remote populations.
