1. To understand the role and importance of simulation (SIM) in healthcare education and training, particularly in the field of medicine. 2. To gain knowledge about various scenarios and medical emergencies that can be simulated for teaching FY1 (first year foundation doctors) trainees. 3. To enhance the skills required to manage patient's condition and emergencies through SIM teaching session led by Dr. Poh Chen Tan. 4. To promote learning from reflective practice and peer feedback during the simulation exercise; fostering team communication and decision-making skills. 5. To critically evaluate the effectiveness of SIM teaching sessions and understand how it can be improved for better learning outputs, under the guidance of Dr. Poh Chen Tan at Causeway Hospital.
