1. By the end of the session, participants will be able to accurately identify the key principles and procedures of simulation-based medical education, as introduced by Dr. Chris Faraday. 2. Participants will gain proficiency in using complex simulation tools and software as applied in the Causeway Hospital context, ensuring that they can effectively use these methods in their own medical practice. 3. Attendees will develop an understanding of the importance of simulation in enhancing patient safety, improving medical education, and for improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services. 4. Participants will be able to critically analyze and evaluate simulation scenarios presented by Dr. Faraday and will be able to contribute effectively in debriefing sessions to improve patient outcomes. 5. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design, implement and evaluate effective simulation-based interventions that are patient-centered, evidence-based and adhere to the safety standards and practices at Causeway Hospital.
