TrewLink, in collaboration with the British Medical Association, is excited to offer a free webinar on the CV, Portfolio, and Interview Skills tailored for international medical graduates (IMGs) looking to work in the UK healthcare system. This webinar is part of our ongoing efforts to support IMGs in their transition and success in the UK.
Join us for a 60-minute webinar on January 06, 2024, to understand more about the crucial aspects of preparing your professional documentation and skills for a successful career in the NHS.
Delivered by the BMA, hosted by TrewLink. The event will commence with introductions from TrewLink and the BMA, and will be followed by a 40-minute interactive and engaging learning session.
This will be delivered by a Medical Careers Consultant & Trainer, who will help you:
1. Understand the Essentials of CVs and Portfolios: We'll delve into what makes a CV and portfolio stand out in the UK healthcare context, highlighting key elements, formatting, and dos and don'ts.
2. Craft Effective CVs and Portfolios: Learn strategies for highlighting clinical experience, skills, and achievements effectively, including how to incorporate research, publications, and additional qualifications to strengthen your profile.
3. Showcase Your Skills and Experience: We'll provide guidance on how to best present your experience and skills in a way that resonates with UK healthcare employers.
4. Prepare for Medical Interviews in the UK: Gain insights into the format of medical interviews, common interview questions, and the overall structure, helping you prepare thoroughly for this crucial step.
Following the session, there will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and seek personalized advice from the speakers.
