UHCW West Midlands Surgical Training Centre, ASiT West Midlands regional representative and a group of consultants and senior surgical trainees are delighted to invite you all to practical skills event - Foundation Skills in surgery.

The event is aimed at medical students and foundation year doctors, junior clinical fellows looking to learn and improve their practical skills in surgery.

Date of the event: 28/02/2022 9:00-16:00

Location: UHCW University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire CSB and West Midlands Surgical Simulation Centre

Registration and slot for participation is confirmed as - first come first served basis.

Number of participants - 15.

Planned topics and practical skills for the event:

Basic theatre etiquette, Wound management (Wound physiology) + complications

And you will learn - knot tying, suturing techniques as well as the basics of vascular anastomosis at the end!
