Attendees will gain insight into managing shift work in a hospital setting, including balancing patient care with rest, and the strategies for dealing with shift work sleep disorder. 4. The session will enable participants to understand the importance of an effective handover system, and teach them the steps involved in this process to ensure smooth transitions and optimal patient care. 5. Participants will be able to outline the essential components of a successful portfolio and identify the skills needed to maintain and develop this documentation throughout the foundation year.
