Objectives: At the end of this session delegates should be able to: Identify the GDC’s scope of practice and the responsibilities of registrants, including professionalism, ethics, confidentiality and consent Deliver the correct knowledge, content and application of “Delivering Better Oral Health”, along with an explanation of the use of evidence based statements Identify the caries process and the role of fluoride in its control Apply fluoride varnish Complete an objective and structured assessment of clinical competence in the additional skill of fluoride application Improve communication skills Learning Content: This training session is intended to create an understanding of fluoride, and the correct method for applying fluoride varnish.
