Description

The forceps is probably the only instrument in the surgical tray that is regularly used by both hands. There are many types of forceps eponymous to famous surgeons, but essentially there are toothed and non toothed forceps. They have to be used with care as both can cause significant tissue injury. Forceps are to be considered an extension of the fingers. Thye are there to help you feel tissues beyond your reach. BBASS offers simple low fidelity models that will enable you to 'home' you skills to improve your forceps fidelity and confidence.
