Learning objectives

  1. By the end of the session, attendees should be able to understand and explain the signs, symptoms and treatment options for common sexual health conditions including candidiasis, bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, genital warts/ulcers, trichomonas, and syphilis.
  2. Participants will be able to identify the clinical manifestations and potential complications of HIV and effectively discuss prevention strategies and treatment.
  3. Attendees will gain knowledge on the impact of these sexual health conditions on fertility and how to manage and treat sub-fertility in affected individuals.
  4. Participants should be able to apply their knowledge in practical settings, providing effective care and advice to patients presenting with sexual health concerns, and ensure an empathetic and sensitive approach while dealing with such cases.
