Mind The Bleep are running a brand new Finals webinar series covering Surgical conditions and presentations.

Our fourth session will cover the essential aspects of Perioperative care, an absolutely core element of surgical practice which is very examinable and yet often overlooked. Topics we will cover include pre-operative care and optimisation, common post-surgical complications and post-operative care, and common ward scenarios to prepare you for FY1 surgical jobs. Conditions and presentations are based off the UKMLA curriculum for Surgery.

We will go through SBAs, presentations, clinical features, assessment and investigations, as well as management, particularly focusing on the role of a foundation doctor.

The session will be recorded if you miss it or want to watch it again!

Any feedback is much appreciated so that we can continue to improve further sessions.
