Dr. Neil Craig is a Cardiology Registrar and MRC funded Clinical Research Fellow who has a special interest in valvular heart disease and clinical imaging. Currently based in NHS Lothian, he was recently awarded the Young Investigator Award in Imaging at this year’s European Society of Cardiology Congress for his work on FAPI PET imaging in aortic stenosis. Dr. Craig has very kindly volunteered his time to discuss his career journey and how to build a competitive clinical portfolio, as well as answer any questions regarding how to successfully pursue a career in cardiology.
