Saskia Clark-Stewart is a Core Surgical Trainee currently enjoying a six-month rotation in Urology in Edinburgh. She hopes to become a General Surgeon and will be applying to higher training next month. Alongside her own surgical training, she enjoys teaching and some of you may remember her as the Anatomy Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh 2020-21 where she became involved with ESSS as a tutor at our regular surgical skills club. Saskia is co-founder of Suture UK which you may recognise as the formal surgical skills curriculum followed by ESSS, a nationwide programme providing undergraduate surgical skills education. She continues her work as an Honorary Teaching Fellow at UoE and is passionate about surgical education: inspiring students to get the most out of their surgical placements and consider a career in surgery themselves.
