Summary
Discover how healthcare practices can create a positive impact on the ever-compelling issue of climate change at the ESNEFT Sustainable Healthcare Conference. Generously funded by the Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity, our speakers - including Prof Hugh Montgomery, Dr Shireen Kassam, and a multitude of healthcare experts - will engage in critical discussions about reducing the environmental impact of our work, embracing sustainable healthcare, and promoting health and wellbeing. The conference also includes a poster competition celebrating sustainability projects within the trust, networking opportunities in the Colchester Wellbeing Garden, and actionable tips on fostering sustainability in various fields of healthcare, like nursing, anaesthesia, surgery and community care. Limited in-person tickets are available for ESNEFT staff while the virtual option is open to all.
