Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) offers a unique blend, focusing on restoring critical senses such as hearing, balance, smell, and taste. With opportunities in open and robotic surgeries, head and neck surgery, and facial plastics, ENT provides a diverse and dynamic career path that many students may not yet know about.
This exciting evening features guest speakers with expertise in:
- Paediatric ENT – Addressing the unique ENT needs of children, including breathing disorders and complex conditions like head and neck vascular and salivary malformations.
- Rhinology – Specializing in the nose, sinuses, and minimally invasive endoscopic skull base surgery, along with expertise in facial plastic surgery.
- Head and Neck Surgery – Focusing on the surgical management of cysts, glands, and head and neck cancers, with a special emphasis on the innovative Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) technique.
- Otology – Treating ear infections, diseases, and damage to improve hearing and balance, including conditions like Meniere’s disease and vestibular schwannomas.
