Calling all students of health and allied health professionals to sign up here to attend the educational series hosted by the Scottish Social Prescribing Champions Team. During the series, there will be talks from Doctors, an Allied Health Professional, and other professionals and community members involved in delivering/knowledgeable about Social Precribing.

The 3 nights of the Scottish Team event series will be 7th - 9th of March during the Social Prescribing Week (4th - 11th of March 2022). There will be other events hosted by other teams around the UK during this week. Keep your eye out on our socials for those.

What is Social Prescribing Day?

Social Prescribing Day is an annual celebration of social prescribing, recognising link workers, local community groups, and projects which have kept us healthy throughout the pandemic and beyond.

Social Prescribing Day is on the 10th of March this year.

During the week and in the run up to Social Prescribing Day, a wide range of individuals and organisations will be sharing resources and hosting events relating to specific themes outlined below.

7th of March (Monday) - Professionals Involved in Social Prescribing

8th of March (Tuesday) - Poverty, Drugs, Alcohol and the role of Social Prescribing

9th of March (Wednesday) - Green Prescribing
