This is the 4th and final part of Dr. Grauer's initial ECG Interpretation Series. The focus of this series has been on introducing and applying Dr. Grauer's user-friendly Ps,Qs,3R Approach for systematic rhythm interpretation ( = "Watch your Ps, Qs & 3Rs").
The first 2 sessions in this series looked at applying the Ps,Qs,3Rs to wide tachycardias. Session 3 distinguished between Mobitz I vs Mobitz II 2nd-degree AV block. Today's 4th session advances assessment of the AV blocks to the concepts of AV Dissociation vs "high-grade" vs Complete ( = 3rd-degree) AV block.
Today's 4th session will focus on content from ECG Blogs #191 and 192 (www.tinyurl.com/KG-Blog-191 β and β www.tinyurl.com/KG-Blog-192). There is NO need for notes β since review of all content can be found on these 2 blog posts.
=================================
Future ECG series by Dr. Grauer will present and apply a systematic approach to 12-lead ECG interpretation β covering key issues including recognizing infarction due to acute coronary occlusion when ST segments are not elevated ( = the concept of "OMI" rather than "STEMI" ) β as well as standard topics such as chamber enlargement, bundle branch blogs and MUCH more.
