Newcastle Anatomy and Physiology Society will be covering ear anatomy on Thursday 27th March from 6-7pm.

- Describe the structure and function of the vestibular system [SBA]
- Describe the features of a normal tympanic membrane [SBA]
- Describe the functions of the external and middle ears [SBA]
- Describe the role of the inner ear in sound transduction [SBA]
- Describe the auditory pathway and its main functions in the analysis and localisation of sound [SBA]
- Describe the mechanisms for encoding sound frequency [SBA]
- Explain the role of the vestibular system in monitoring balance [SBA]
