1. By the end of the session, participants should be able to identify the primary care required in the first weeks of a neonate's life. 2. Participants should be able to recognize common neonatal health issues and recommend the appropriate treatment plan. 3. Participants should be able to identify key indicators that could indicate a serious health issue in a neonate. 4. By the end of the session, participants should be able to communicate appropriate ways to ensure family-centered care of a neonate. 5. Participants should be able to facilitate communication between themselves and the family of the neonate when developing a treatment plan.
