Mr Tsang - Consultant Craniofacial, Trauma and Neurosurgeon
Mr Kevin Tsang studied medicine at Guy's, King's College and St Thomas' Schools of Medicine, during which time he also undertook an intercalated BSc in neurosciences. He subsequently underwent basic surgical training in London, Cambridge and Oxford and trained specially to become a neurosurgeon in Plymouth and Bristol. He obtained his specialist registration in neurosurgery in July 2014 and became a consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in November 2014, where he is the Head of Service for Major Trauma today.
Expertise: cranial trauma, spinal trauma, CSF disorders, degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumours and emergency neurosurgery.
Mr Bishop - Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon
He qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1994. Having completed his basic surgical training, he went on to carry out specialist training in orthopaedics in the South West Thames region. Since his appointment as a Spinal and Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at St George's Hospital in 2009, Mr Bishop has worked to expand and develop the spinal service there. St George's has now become one of London’s four major trauma centres, is the regional tertiary referral centre for metastatic spinal disease and a regional centre for scoliosis treatment. Today, he is the Clinical Director for the surgical directorate at St George's.
Expertise: all aspects of spinal surgery, adult and paediatric spinal deformity, metastatic spinal disease and spinal trauma, as well as surgery for cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral pathology.
