Description

One of the challenge in the SFP interview process is to ace the clinical competency questions. Due to the shortened duration of clinical time (those clinical time is instead allocated for your research/medical education project), the SFP selection panel really want to make sure that you can be a safe clinician.

They want to pick the people who are ready to hit the ground running, at least on the basics like medical emergencies or ethical dilemmas. So the Demystify the SFP team brought you two seasoned speakers from the ward. The two speakers have already completed their AFP and they have real life experiences dealing with life on the ward. And they are in fields that give them pretty good exposure: ENT & Critical Care.

So please welcome Dr Talks and Dr Dewar and get prepared for those clinical scenario questions!

Summary

This teaching session is designed to help medical professionals demystify the SFP part 6 clinical competency questions. Led by experienced speakers from ENT and Critical Care, attendees will learn how to answer situational judgment questions and how to perform the ABCDE method in real life medical emergencies. At the end of the session, attendees will have practical experience and the confidence to ace the SFP interview process and hit the ground running.
