For the fifth talk of our series, we're delighted to have Mr Simon Barker, who will discuss the concepts of Paediatric Orthopaedics.
Speaker's Biography:
Mr Barker is a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. He also supports services in Inverness and Shetland. He trained at Guy's Hospital, London and then on the North of Scotland rotation. He is immediate past president of the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the BSSCP, UKCCG and is a Deputy Chair of BMA Scotland. Simon has particular interests in the treatment of clubfoot and cerebral palsy as well as gait analysis. He loves to read - his favourite is Lord of the Rings.
