EUTOS proudly presents our Deep Dive Subspecialty series, a teaching series where experts in the field guide us through common procedures in the various orthopaedic subspecialties.
For our first session, we're delighted to welcome back Mr Joe Esland who will be talking about soft tissue sarcoma resection and endoprosthesis replacement within the field of Orthopaedic Oncology.
Mr. Esland is an ST7 in Orthopaedic Surgery on the Edinburgh Rotation. He has a subspecialty interest in orthopaedic oncology, within which he has undertaken a postgraduate diploma and is currently completing his doctoral thesis in this area. He will shortly be undertaking two Sarcoma Fellowships in London and Sydney. In this talk, Mr. Esland will discuss some of the principles of sarcoma surgery, including tumour excision and limb reconstruction techniques.
