Ezra Schwartz is a non-US IMG and one of two incoming vascular surgery interns at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Ezra completed a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University before attending medical school at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

In the 2022 application cycle, Ezra applied to Canadian vascular surgery programs and went unmatched. However, he was accepted to the two-year Master of Medical Science in Medical Education program at Harvard Medical School where he is currently completing his thesis.

Ezra’s areas of interest include vascular surgery and the use of technology in patient and trainee education. He is an editor at Audible Bleeding, The Vascular Surgery Podcast and Lead Developer/Editor-in-Chief of the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery (APDVS) Medical Student Curriculum eBook set to be released this summer.
