1. Improve diagnosis accuracy for the identification of a sick child. 2. Demonstrate the application of history taking and physical examination in the examination of a sick child. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of the various medical conditions in a sick child, their pathophysiology, clinical presentation and management. 4. Improve the ability to differentiate between the most common causes of acutely ill child. 5. Increase confidence in medical decision making related to the care and management of acutely ill paediatric patients.
