This exciting inaugural talk, led by our tutors, Dr. Ryan Kelly (FY1) and Dr. Kashmira Jeeva (FY2), is a must-attend event for all medical students aiming for success in their finals.

Learning objectives

  1. To master the understanding and identification of common cardiology presentations expected in finals, including key signs, symptoms, and diagnostic approaches, taught with an A-E approach.
  2. To successfully interpret ECG data, recognizing common abnormalities and understanding their implications for patient care and treatment.
  3. To develop a comprehensive background on various cardiac conditions, their pathophysiology, presentation, investigations, management and complications.
  4. To encourage interactive learning by engaging in discussions with near-peer tutors, thus raising any queries, clarifying misunderstood concepts, and gaining practical insights.
