Gain confidence in common emergency presentations. To kick off the new academic year and changeover, Dr Ewan Hamilton will take us through common presentations seen in emergency medicine.

Ewan is an emergency medicine consultant currently working in the Royal Alexandra Hospital and Inverclyde Royal in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. He has a passion for emergency medicine and he loves the day to day variety that the job brings. He is originally from Stirling, but trained and worked his whole career in Glasgow, graduating from the University of Glasgow and then went straight through foundation to ST training. He is due to work for the EMRS service in Aberdeen from February and has an interest in pre-hospital EM and provides sport pitch-side cover for rugby. He also enjoys a good pint, the cinema and some PS4 sessions!

This talk with cover a variety of cases including acute medicine, surgery, orthopaedics and subspecialty presentations. Ewan is looking forward to sharing his passion, knowledge and experience.
