BBASS is going to be lead by two very experienced surgeons who are going to discuss what mentoring and coaching is and why it is a necessary part of mastery.

We would also like to introduce our new Sensei - Mr Tim Terry

Mr Tim Terry is a retired consultant reconstructive urological surgeon based East Midlands. FRCS Eng 1980 MS London 1987. Educationalist Dip Med Ed , Associate Dean, SAC Chair Urology .Examiner IMRCS and FRCS Urol 21 years, 95 papers. Emeritus BAUS Sec and Council Member 10 years, Gold Medal. Mentor for surgeons 12 years , 8 years for BAUS Members at AGM’s. He has an active website: mentoringmedics.com and offers one to one consulting.

Mr Christopher Caddy is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He was elected to Council in 2019. An Edinburgh graduate with international training in South Africa, Australia, and USA. His interests include Education and Training, Leadership and Quality Improvement. He is a Fellows Representative on the Advisory Board, Faculty of Surgical Trainers and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators. He is involved with NOTSS training, FLOW and individual coaching.
