1. To understand and identify the common presenting symptoms and clinical features of upper gastrointestinal (GI) core conditions. 2. To learn and apply appropriate diagnostic procedures and tests for various upper GI core conditions to aid correct and timely diagnosis. 3. To acquire knowledge about the latest management and therapeutic strategies for common upper GI disorders, including both non-pharmacological and pharmacological approaches. 4. To be able to discuss the complications and prognosis of various upper GI core conditions and apply this knowledge to patient counselling and management. 5. To develop an understanding of the best practice guidelines for treating upper GI core conditions and to keep this knowledge updated for the continued improvement of patient care.
