This webinar, in partnership with SCTS, will focus on chest wall deformities especially Pectus excavatum including anatomy and physiology and surgical procedures for correction.

Aims

To educate about chest wall deformities and current trends in management of these conditions.

Panellists

Our panellists include:

  • Prof. Shyamsunder Kolvekar M.Ch. FRCS (CTh) - Prof. Kolvekar is a Consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. Apart from cardiac surgical interests, Prof. Kolvekar has a special interest in chest wall deformity interventions. He is an internationally recognised surgeon for the adult Nuss procedure, and has adapted the Nuss procedure with several new techniques for better pain control and reduced risk from surgery.
  • Mr. Vivek Srivastava FRCSEd (CTh), MBA - Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Oxford University Hospitals NHS FT; Member and Webinar Lead, Surgical Specialty Board for Cardiothoracic Surgery, RCSEd.
