To understand the comprehensive process of conducting a cardiovascular examination by outlining each step in detail – from patient introduction, the necessary clinical history-taking, right through to a full cardiovascular system examination. 2. To familiarize with commonly encountered OSCE stations in cardiovascular teaching, focusing on certain scenarios or case studies that often come up, and discussing the correct approach and response for each scenario. 3. To hone skills of interpretation of cardiovascular exam findings by discussing certain patterns of signs and symptoms that could associate with specific cardiovascular diseases or conditions. 4. To gain knowledge on effective communication with patients within the context of a cardiovascular exam, shedding light on the importance of informed consent, expressing empathy and making the patient feel comfortable throughout the procedure. 5. To review and share practical tips, strategies, and tricks on how to effectively answer and score well in cardiovascular OSCEs - focusing on time management, how to present findings, and the organization of thoughts and responses.
